Norra Vilan is a small-scale place in the heart of Sweden, born from the wish to share calm, nature and simplicity with others. Surrounded by forests, lakes and silence, we are building — step by step — a place where you're allowed to slow down and recharge.

Whether you travel alone, come together or with your family: at Norra Vilan it's not about crowds or full programmes, but about space — for yourself, for each other and for life outdoors.

We pay extra attention to people who deliberately seek out the quiet, for whatever reason. Everyone carries their own story. At Norra Vilan there's room to be alone, but also not to be on your own. Sometimes silence is enough; sometimes it's good to know that someone is there to listen or think along.

This way of looking at things grew out of our own experiences and our work in the police force and in care. We carry that background with us in the way we treat people: with attention, respect and without judgement.

Our place lies in the middle of the Swedish nature. From your stay you step straight into the forest, hop on a bike or find a quiet spot to simply be. You can stay in one of our comfortable accommodations or spend the night on a peaceful camping pitch, surrounded by nature. Everything is set up small-scale, with care for the surroundings and the atmosphere — no crowds, but calm, overview and personal attention.

For those who want to unwind, Norra Vilan is a place of stillness, walking and slowing down. For those who like to move, we and the surroundings offer plenty of room to cycle, hike or train. Movement and rest live side by side here — you choose what you need in that moment.
